Hope Marian

My name is Hope Marian. Having dealt with cranial pain since 8 years old, I know what the unimaginable pain and suffering is like. Many years later, a 26 month long migraine took over my life. I became my own advocate in the medical world. I demanded test after test, to only come up empty handed with zero answers. After no solution to even touch the discomfort with over 30 prescriptions, hospital stays and negative results, I said "No more". As someone who spent days at a time in a dark room, I can resonate with the detriment of daily intractable migraine with or without aura. After being told "Hope, you have run out of options", I knew I had to find my own solution and peace. My life wasn't put on this earth to be wasted away in misery. I used cannabis and a multitude of tools (forces) against my migraine cycle. Surprisingly, I also treated the other added conditions that come with the disfunction. While we all suffer from migraines, other symptoms or disease go hand-in-hand. Cannabis helped me treat many other things going on in my body. My technique helped (pushed me to) escape the deadly cycle I was in.

I fell in love with this plant after continuing studies and work in the canna-movement. This motivated me to create a network that was easily accessible to everyone. The Hope Collective was born in Nov 2016. THC is an education and support platform for general cannabis education. We believe in advocating nationally for whole plant reform and awareness. Cannabis is an integrative part of the healing process, and it supports a healthy lifestyle. We work with adults of all ages, those with different levels of experience using cannabis, medical patients, healthcare providers, non-medical users and fellow cannabis professionals.

I know the importance of safe space. It only made sense to create a unique group, a safe place if you will, for migraineurs to learn about cannabis (Migrainehope.org) . We often are faced with questions but don't typically have a medical provider open to hearing our questions, concerns or recommendations. No one should be denied the power of knowledge.

Informative opportunities include an easy to use website, discussion based forum that inspires dialogue, social media platforms for networking and events. Materials offered include a variety of books, pamphlets, apps and other products. I am currently offering workshops in California and Massachusetts, as well as cannabis wellness consultations through the website.

Best,

Hope
